Default Battery Relocation

So my new carbon fiber hood has inspired me to go ahead and relocate my battery to the trunk. Has anyone else done this mod to their IS300?? Just wondering if there are any potential issues with this mod as I have never done it to any of my cars before. Seems easy enough but you never know til you try.
I have done a little research and found this one is very highly rated. I like that it isn't metal looks clean.

Anyway if anyone has any feedback on this mod lemme know. Thanks

I've done it to utilize the space under the hood and relocate the ABS block to where the battery was in order to make more clearance for turbo. I'd recommend 0 gauge wire for the new battery cables. Also, a universal tray that you can screw into the frame and a battery tie down kit. When grounding the battery to the frame, there are threaded holes placed near the corners of the trunk, use those. Also, hit the spot your're screwing the ground wire with some paint thinner so that the bare metal can contact the ground. I believe I used a 10mm bolt out of a toyota nut/bolt kit I purchased from autozone.

This is temporary, gotta drill some holes in my battery tray so that the FIGS battery tie down kit will fit over the battery.

I did need to do it for a few reasons. I eventually did so with 0ga Battery cable run to the trunk and the MOROSO Relocation kit. I bought it for $88 shipped I believe and have been VERY happy over the years since the upgrade. It required drilling 2 holes, which I drilled in the RR trunk frame. The beam that madchyers grounded to in his pic. You do know the gas from the battery can kill you, right?? At a track you would be required to secure it and put it in an approved encasing with a vent tube...which all comes with the relocation kit. I do admire the utilization of the space on your design, tho The kit has an airtight case that meets racing standards, so I had no choice to rig something up I'll try to get a pic on here of the finished product. Here's the item I ordered just for a diff price:

I know this is an old thread but I'm trying to put an auxiliary battery for my sound system at the location in the picture above. Could someone show me where I need to drill into?

There are 2 frame rails in the trunk that pretty much take up all the flat area. Im going to do the relocation and use the top of frame rail as the bottom of the battery box. Im doing it this way because I think its stronger. I've bolted battery boxes to the sheet metal "floor" area in the trunk and not around a frame rail before and it wasnt very stable.

I used a braille b3121 battery, the associated battery "box" for that battery, and a relocation kit from https://ceautoelectricsupply.com/.

The box bolts directly into two of the holes shown in the image above. You have to get your own 10mm bolts to do it but it lines up perfect. I'd do it exactly the same way with the exact same parts if I had to do it again.
