IS300: 7.1 (R&T), 6.8 (5-spd, direct from Lexus)
RSX-S: 6.7 (R&T, MT)
A4 2.8: 9.0 (R&T)
A4 3.0: 7.7 (R&T), 7.0 (MT)
A4 1.8T: 8.1 (MT)
Celica GT-S: 6.8 (R&T)
Mustang: try specifying a year, and this is the wrong board to even ask.

those times look high. I thought that an IS would out run the new accord. The new accord runs 0-60 in 6.6 seconds according to motor trend and that is with the 5 speed auto.

really. I got one and everyone has been telling me that an is would kill me. I have not had a chance to race yet because of the stupid break in period, only got about 90 miles on the car. But the sedan is heaveir about 70 pounds i think. Sounds good, I was thinking about an IS but decided we had too many lexus in the family, 3 right now. So i decided to be different and get a honda and I am pleased with it.

in the is? is it stock? thats a pretty good number ( i saw the MT). you'd have to be able to shift really well, because if lexus says its 6.8 with a MT, well...

I have a few mods and I'm a good driver. Anyway, it was just a guess.

A new V6 Mustang will do 0-60 in 7.5-8.0, depending on the transmission and if it's a hardtop or a convertible. The GT will be more around 5.5-6.2ish, again depending on the tranny and the model. A well driven 5 speed GT coupe is easily capable of 13's in the 1/4 mile.

With the Apexi RSM controller I ran a 6.57 sec in my 2001 auto IS300. The car has Intake, headers, exhaust, coilovers, & Volk 18's w/Potenza S-03.

BTW I ran this on wet surface.
