Arrow started painting the engine covers. just testing the waters. lol

so i got bored and decided to test the waters and paint some of the covers in the engine bay. started out with the intake and a fuse box. here is what i got out of my first try.

what are you using to prep and paint? looks good so far, cant wait to see the outcome

I'm actually just sanding them down and coating them thick as hell with caliper paint. its heat resistant up to 900 degrees, so i don't think it is going anywhere soon. but i may sand em back down and take em to a body shop here in my town and get em pro done for shows.

im not. i am going to redo the dash and panels tho, the rubberish stuff is coming off and pissing me off. but I'm actually buying a dash kit

Nice Josh. How's the air scoop holding up? I decided to leave that one piece alone because the rubber liner from the hood goes across that part, and I'm not sure how it will hold up. Can you see evidence of the paint fading in that area?
