Default Wheel question please help.

Hi every body. I would like to know what size spacer do I need to push out my stock wheels out on my. 2001 IS and what would be the down side to putting spacers on my car?

Thanks for the help and tips.

downside - potential shaking, less stable wheels, more stress on the wheel bearings and wheel studs, not to mention unknown potential alignment issues...

They don't look bad stock as it is...

I have a pair of side Wald skirts I want to install but my stock rims look to in wen I put them out so I was thinking of putting spacers on the back wheels to push them out.

well, it is doable, but only with hubcentric spacers on the stock wheels, if you don't get hub centric spacers, you will never get the wheels centered properly (unless you run less than a 5 mm spacer, which wouldn't be enough to get what you want done...

you may want to wait on the skirts until you have wheels, might look a little silly with stock wheels anyways...
