I was replacing my No.2 lower control arm bushing this afternoon and found a leak under some of the plastic shrouding
. It seems to be originating from between the block and the transmission area. Has anyone had any similar experience. I go through maybe two quarts of oil in 3,000 miles. I just thought I was burning some. Thanks

Definitely rear main seals. Out of all the 2J I have put in those seem to be the number one recommendation for people to change out before dropping it in. Grab a few buddies and beers and call it a project.

What are we looking at for time frame, a Saturday or the whole weekend? Anybody have a DIY? Where should I get this rear main seal? Any specific vendor or CL? Thanks!
