Tire question for New wheels please help!
Hey guys, haven't been on here in a while but had a question, I just bought the XXR 527's 17x8.25 [25 mm] and was trying to figure out what the best size low profile tire i could get by with... I currently have the 235 stock tires that were on the stock wheels. (not 100% of all the numbers) but they look like donuts on these wheels and just wanted to know of a good size..
I have D2 coilovers and currently have the front raised because the tires are to big.. poor planning on my part..
.
Thanks for your input!

So, kinda need to know the rest of the numbers...
first off, stock size is 215/45-17...
do you have 235/40-17 or 235/45-17???
235/45-17 is a good size for all 4 corners on stock wheels... not sure what the problem is with those wheels, aside from too high of an offset, which will require smaller tires (opposite of what you want, I believe)

Mine are the 235/45/17 I'm pretty sure, I actually want to go with a much thinner tire. A buddy of mine recommended the 205/40/17.. what do you suggest? Thanks

Thanks again for your help, Would just leaving the 235/45's on the back and putting 215/45's on front look good?
