I am getting ready to buy some 19's for my 2002 IS 300 5 spd and would love some advice on suspension and brakes. I figure once I go to the bigger rims (Thinking Kreuzer Series V, HRE 546R's or LSportline Model IV Multi-Piece) I will want bigger brakes so my stock ones arent in there lookin like babies. I also am new to all of this and would appreciate recommendations on suspension. I am looking to spend around 10k all said and done if that helps limit choices.
many thanks in advance

Sounds like a nice setup!!
For your brake's, I would go with StopTechs. They have a beautiful setup, that's nice and big, and works among some of the best in the world. I think a 4-wheel setup costs around $3500 or so. If you've seen Mike's GGP from PLP, you know they brakes I'm talking about.
As for suspension, maybe some nice HKS Hypermax II's or JIC coils, those are among some of the best. Expect to pay around $2000 for either of those sets.
Look around, look for input on adjustability of each system and see if it suits what you want in a system. Always talk to vendors also to see what they sell most and if any customers give them feedback on it.
Good luck, and I can't wait to see your ride when you're done!
