Hey, have you raced a twin turbo modded supra yet, and a corvette? And what is your 0-60 time?

ISTURBO-

How long can the engine withstand those mods?? It would seem that it's not your daily driver. I also have read here on CL about overall longevity(modest mods) but do you expect 65K, 75, 100K of engine life with such extreme mods?

Just Curious-

Do you road race-

Jarrett, good to have you on the board bud. Are you talking about Dusty's Supra??? By the way, the car is stinkin' FAST.

For me fellas, no Supra yet because there are so few in Arkansas. I am trying to race a Viper and I will let you know how that goes.

Again man awesome car!

now u must shoot for Titan Motorsports Supra HP

1150H and 957ft.lbs of torque and after he reached that number he spun the wheels which means he was prob putting down around 1,300HP at the wheels. or the Venom Tundra he put down 1,250HP at the WHEELS and then spun the wheels on the dyno!

And a supra engine can also last a very good while at high boost and HP levels it properly built and taken car of.

awesome man!

Titan's car as well as Venom's Tundra uses a 2JZ-GTE short block & head as well as custom manifolds so big they wouldn't fit underneath the IS300 hood. The 2JZ-GE that comes in the IS isn't capable of flowing that kind of power. You're talking about 2 completely different setups. Although I have to admit it would be funny to see an IS300 trying to put 1200rwhp down to the pavement. I'm sure Marc & Jarrett both can verify that 1/2 that rwhp is already plenty a handful!

Regards,

Dusty

The GE engine is very well built by most standards. I expect similar reliability to our NA Supra turbo kits, many of which have been on cars for over five years now. I dont see 65-100k miles being a problem on cars making 380-450 RWHP. Now, anything over 500 RWHP begins to approach the upper limits of the stock rods which would impact reliability. However, with a change of rods as found in our PHR street engine package, you can expect almost unlimited HP numbers with good reliability. Of course, any engine making this kind of HP will require constant maintenance. IE: spark plug changes quite often, oil changes at 2500-3000 miles max, constant check of fluids and filters, etc. To us, 450 RWHP is not an "extreme" mod by any means. :-) I have road raced before, but I never made it a career. As the saying goes, I prefer to live life 9 seconds at a time!

V8 Killer has been known to drop 1208 rwhp on the dyno. Be afraid, be very afraid.

I've been toying with the idea of modding my IS, my 300zx made 367hp to the wheel, and I figured If I am going to do this car, I would over 400hp. I noticed you have the stage 2, any Idea on what the stage 1 is making?

i have seen a stock NA 2JZ-GE make 540RWHP on stock internals ( it was a NA Supra and he put a single on it and boosted it up ).

I just mentioned the venom cars because they are a show of what the supra engine can take.

also the Supra auto tranny is able to take 550HP in totally stock form and a lot more when it is modded, i am not surprised he can do this with the stock tranny.

good job man take it easy and post kills!
