What exactely did you change on the exhaust? was it just a rear section? or did you change the B-pipe and put a header on or anything?
It could be an exhaust leak through one of the donut gasket's in your exhaust. Do you have any exhaust smell when you have the air inlet on Fresh air instead of recirc?
If you smell exhaust at all, inside the cabin, you most likely have an exhaust leak, that could be potentially dangerous to you.
If you don't smell any exhaust, maybe it's something inside the car?
Check your radiator/water level to make sure it's filled, as I've heard air bubbles trapped in the heater core before that make a gurgling sound.
Good luck and tell us in more detail if you can.

Have you noticed this gurgling noise when you take your your foot off the pedal after medium acceleration while going downhill?? If so i've noticed the same noise and it seems to be the ABS prematurely kicking in or something. Have you found let problem yet? please let me know

you probably have an eshift and the noise is the sound of the Torque Converter, after market Torq/C are even louder. you probably just never heard it over the stereo before.
