2001 is300 vs 2008-2012 Mitsubishi lancer
Any thoughts I have a 2001 is300 but I was looking into a Mitsubishi lancer because it's a bigger car and from what I've been told easier to mod. Any thoughts on this?

From a person coming from a 2011 Lancer GTS, I'll tell you this.
The car is slow, yet comfortable. Parts are almost unlimited, but sometimes hard to get to. Just like all cars are. I had one of the fastest N/A Lancers in CA and it only made around 178 whp after my tune. Granted, the car does look amazing, and simple mods can completely change the look of the car.
One thing I will say though, the forums for the Lancer was the best. Everyone is active, and you get replies to questions almost instantly. If you wanna post the question there, you'd get a lot more replies. I know a lot about them, so I can answer them too.
Here's the website: Projectlancer.net, and 9glancer.com
My user name is JDM_Danny, well was, now it's USAF_Danny
But if you wanna know more, PM me. Here's my lancer maybe you've see it before. Been all over websites, magazines, and social media. Even won a bunch of awards too at big shows.

The acceleration isn't too bad when you're going about 45..but I drove the car in the mountain to go snowboarding, or especially on the freeway, it doesn't really pull. The Tq stock is like 130 or so, I can't remember. It's definitely a good car if you're looking for comfort. EVERYONE I've ever driven loves how comfortable the backseats are, I had the cloth seats.
The car is reliable, I never really had any issues with the car. As far as working on the car, everything's right there, so installs are a piece of cake.
