Just got done with my engine swap for my IS300 ( Same 2JZGE vvti engine ), took a while to get it started. Finally ran but when I pressed the gas pedal car dies immediately. I am meticulous about every single wires on this engine. I don't know what else could it be. I'm suspecting its the throttle cable position sensor.

It is the same throttle body from the old engine so i know it works. Or i probably mess it up by cleaning the assembly with brake cleaner.

 

Could be ignition coil, cylinders or spark plugs...not firing up

 

Not a good idea to clean dbw throttle bodies with any sort of spray cleaner... Chances are you fubared the tps and/or the throttle motor...

 

could be idle air control, throttle position sensor, if you removed it from the throttle body, did you put it back properly using a feeler gauge?
