Buying IS300
I'm looking to buy a 2001/2002 IS300 here locally in the bay area. I've seen most IS300's go for around $7k at 150k miles, automatic transmission and clean title, on craigslist. Is this considered a good price if timing belt/ water pump have both been replaced? Thanks ahead of time for any responses.

I'm going through a similar issue in SoCal but I'll be buying from a relative. I'm buying a 2003 IS300 manual with 50k miles and I think I'm going to pay $10,000, which is probably pretty low. Your price sounds reasonable to me. I'm currently living in South Carolina and your price would be high here, but everything is dirt cheap here.

I don't know about 7k. I've seen and had a few buddies get some sweet is300's for 4.5k. I'm currently in the market for one and my max is 5k. There just so scarce here is SoCal, not a easy task to get a clean one at a great deal.

I'm also in the market. Here in Southern AZ they are hard to find as well. I've seen a couple between 5-7k with 120-150k miles. I have a client who has dealer maintained her's and just upgraded to a 2015 IS 250, but she is keeping the IS 300 for now. I told her when she's ready to call me lol.
