I'm definitely going to swap my is300 5speed with one of the 3 engines above. Need some input. Really wanting to do 1jzgte because I can pick up a 1jzgte with 45-60k for close to 1000 with eberything. I can get one with an r154 for $1800 dollars. 2jzgte on the other hand I'm looking at 2500 with r154. I don't plan on doing crazy horsepower like 700hp. I want a reliable 450hp. With being a on budget the ls1 engine isn't a bad idea either. But swap kit for ls1 to is300 is crazy expensive.... But ls1 engine and t56 I can pick up for around 2000.

Any ideas please help

Why swap? Turbo what you have - make 350 whp and thats the same as if not more than what you'll get from any of those options. Then, when you want more power, build the bottom end.

It's just I could sell my 2jzge and my 5 speed tranny out of my is300 when I take it out for close to 1500. Mileage on engine and tranny is 70k

2jz-gte's are a dime a dozen in socal. you can even get jdm ones if you really wanted.

Let me know if you want engine and 5 speed tranny. Both have 82k miles. I have paperwork on engine. And clutch kit and flywheel have 5k miles on it in my is300. I got the oem spec Exedy clutch kit with fidanzia lightweight flywheel. That clutch kit and flywheel cost 600 itself. I'll let it all go for 1200 if your really interested.
