Anyone mod their MAS (mass air sensor), i heard some good story about the performance etc... Some claimed 6-10hp.

Any opinions?

I have heard good stories as well, but I have yet to see any positive results worth bragging. Cleaning the MAF has been a way to restore power but not for all. There are controllers which modify the signal of the MAF but that's not modifying the MAF itself. There are ways to replace the MAF with another but this normally requires additional modifications to the ECU and /or using adjustable -like controllers. Eliminating the MAF all together and converting the signal by use of other means is how the HKS VPC works. The "stand-alone" system can virtually eliminate everything and require you to create a new program all together... and that's usually what happens when you attempt to install something like this. Your car doesn't run, and nobody to help, confused , and frustrated as you are helpless and "stand-alone". j/k (I couldn't help but to throw that in)

Yeah, i've heard of the greddy system. I guess there is nothing I can do.

Damn the modern car and damn emmission, I rather plant more trees and leave the car the way they are.
