IS300 vs BMW 330
Not sure if this has been asked before, but what seperates the IS300 from the BMW 330? i or ci? They're both around the same price. And I just want to know what a lexus owner's opinion is.
Performance, suspension, luxury, etc.

definitely not the same price. fully loaded is3 is 35k out of the door, but fully loaded 330 (either i or ci) will run about 42 to 43k, a lot more
both are very nice cars, bimmer has a better brand name and i heard that the handling is slightly better than is300 (stock to stock). the 330 is a bit faster than the is300 too i believe. feature wise i like is300 better, at lest you have in dash cd changer, not in the trunk.

You can save some $$ and have done something else. You paid extra $5k for the brand name! !just personal opinion

yeah that's why a lot of 3 series owner they don't get factory cd changer and either 1) get it from outside for 400 bucks cheap, but still in trunk, or 2) get aftermarket stuff immediately. the HK audio upgrade on the 330 is very nice though, i wish they had ML upgrade for is3
not sure about lsd but i would imagine there is aftermarket for 330? either case still have superior handling imho, look wise and performance wise (both stock to stock and mod to mod), the 330 would edge the is3 a bit. reliability and maintenance of course the is3 will win by a mile. if you plan to only own teh car for 3 yrs, lease a bimmer, it's fun. if you wanna keep your car for long, get the is3, it's best for money. if you have too much money and need just one car, get 330

Too much money?
Who's got too much money? I do okay for myself but I know a better deal when I see one. The SportDesign is a better purchase that the 330 not only because you ge a FULLY loaded IS SportDesign for the price of a stripped down 330 but also because it just looks better. There are so many of those over - priced BMW on the road that you just disappear. I don;t need flames on the side of my car or big decals but I still like to be seen every now and then. SportDesign in Thundercloud Metallic with a spoiler. That's how I'll be seen after tax time.

is a ferrari overpriced, or a bentley overpriced?
i used to think exotics are over priced, tilli sat in and drove for 2 days an aston matin db7
wow....you could touch the body like you would touch a graceful woman..it was beautiful and sensual, and a very rewarding experience
so i think $$ is relative. you might think a 330 is overpriced, whereas other people might think its cheap or priced right.
