Yes. It took my honestly about 1.5 years to find something at a good price and in good condition. There are plenty minty ones out there for 10k+ which is absolutely ridiculous. Has minor details but I am already working on it.

Nice purchase! I miss my sportcross and the new owner has destroyed the interior already...

This has been such a dilemma for me. I feel like the IS is one of the most horribly modified vehicles on the road. Maybe it has to do with the fact that it dropped to an easily attainable price for many younger people, or the fact that the American JDM explosion was peaking when this car was released and its brother the Altezza was an icon, or maybe its the 2JZ/1000hp pipe dreams, or more likely a mixture of all of it. Either way, I feel like I was turned off for so many years by this car because it was so horribly abused. Now that I have a showroom stock version I have such a hard time with the thought of mods. Where many people mod to make their car unique, it feels like the only way to be unique with this car is to not mod and bask in its unaltered glory.

I feel like when I no longer have room for mine, I'm just going to donate it back to Toyota or to some museum or something. I couldn't stand to see her untastefully modified by some person lacking taste. I mean, it's already equipped with Altezza lights

I feel the same way! I recently picked up my sportcross, clean, 48,000-ish miles. I am not doing any mods to this thing.... if anything I'll get stock is250 wheels. The stock is300 wheels were dipped in chrome at one point in it's life and are now flaking and all that nasty stuff.
