Default 01 is300 CEL on and traction control blinking
I just recently purchased a 01 is300 (my first lexus ever owned).
A week ago my check engine came on and my traction control light is bblinking. Now the car sputters when I accelerate and it backfires every once in a while. Can someone please help me with what I should look for or what the problem could be please.

I would suggest getting a diagnostic ran. And I would be willing to bet that you get a P0172 code.
