Talking Auto vS MANUAL

Can an automatic with a upgraded transmission shift as fast as I can with a 5-speed?

Yes. a torque converter upgrade should be able to do it

are you asking if an automatic transmission can shift faster than you??? A person cannot shift faster than an automatic or an SMG...now with the question of an upgraded transmission, what do you exactly mean???

hmmm...that's a good question...i believe you can at probably match the times of a manual transmission. I've only heard of one car that ran a faster 0-60 in the auto version as opposed to a 6-speed manual without modifications...that was a camaro, i believe....

and Auto with a Torque Converter should be .2 seconds faster on the 1/4 mile then a stock M/T.
