Headlight Level Sensors Replaced - Dash Warning Light Still On!
As you can tell from the title, I just replaced both the headlight leveling sensors in the rear and front (with new sensors). The lights do make an adjustment now when I start the car, and the dash warning light is off for about 10 seconds. Then it comes back on. The lights do the adjustment at the beginning by going down and then returning the middle. But I seem to recall that they would go down and then up before adjusting back to the middle when I had my original 2001. My guess is that the light leveling sensors have been inoperable for so long that now the lights themselves are the culprits.
Has anyone else done this repair and what adjustments do you need to do to the headlights to make sure that the motors in them will move in response to the info fed to them from the leveling sensors?
Thanks for your help!
