CLUSTER INSTALL
HELLO,
WOW u got the TRD CLUSTER with theTACH in teh middle? IF U DID that is DOPE!... i wanted that one but what i found out is that the wiring on that cluster is not the same to our USDM connectors but it still is workable if u do some splicing and know which wire has the tach function...
AS for taking ur LEXUS cluster OUT.... there are TWO screws on top u need to unscrew... one screw on the bottom panel on ur right hand side. that takes the frame apart. once the frame is APART u need to disconnect ur light that lights up the cluster when ur headlamps are one.. the connector is directly behind the **** on ur left side. ONCE u take the frame off there are TWO more screws on the bottom which u will see holding the cluster and clips in place. also another screw on teh top which u will see... unscrew all three of those and then pull the cluster out .. once the cluster is OUT u need to disconnect the two connectors (BA-connectors) and then put in ur cluster.. but ur tach will nto work until u get that wiring figured out... OK so give me the update on ur cluster!....
