AC controls - temp reset?
Hey guys, i've done some searching but can't seem to find anything similar to my issue:
The AC on my 2002 IS300 worked fine when I bought it 2 months ago. Then a week ago I removed the HVAC control unit in order to install a new Alpine headunit radio.
Once I plugged the HVAC control back in and started the car, it was blowing warm all of the sudden.
I found that it will blow cold air now but ONLY if I have the **** cranked down to about 68 or below. Anything higher and it blows heat. I live in Texas and it's summer so the temp guage must be off.
Does anyone know if unplugging and replugging the AC control unit back in causes the temp **** to get out of sync? The other ***** (fan speed, vent location) still work correctly.
I'm baffled by this one. Thanks!
