Ethan, you are fast, you buy a 6sp IS300T which isn't even at your house and now you are talking about an auto IS300, LOL.

Richie,

You always got to keep thinking ahead. By the time you get the car, the novelty already wears off. HAHA.

Ethan, congrats dude! You're the envy of all SoCal IS owners (and pretty much everywhere else too). Hope to see you driving around town. Again, congrats!

Thanks and I hope to meet you in the future. I remember hearing a 2jz-gte w/ 6 speed running around in So-Cal, but I forgot where and who I heard it from.

A question I have, before I ask Jarrett is, what is the purpose of HKS 1000cc injectors? I mean, really, I see most Supra's have 720cc.

720's usually run out of fuel capacity for the larger turbo setups (The duty cycle becomes to much). PHR's Stage 2 fuel setup runs 850cc injectors and so fourth. I'm sure Dusty's Supra has some 1000cc injectors or larger.

congrats on the purchase I'm assuming that this is a very high hp turbo setup if you're expecting low 11s or better on the quarter mile which means the turbo must be huge and full boost would probably be achieved around 4000RPM or somewhere around there. Is such a setup a good choice for daily driving? You won't be enjoying all that hp unless you floor it all the time and the car will be pretty slow below the RPM at which full boost is achieved. Also would such a setup really be more reliable than all the other stock cars you were contemplating?
Just looking our for ya or maybe I don't know what the hell I'm talking about...

Congratulations on the purchase. It's nice to see the CL owner getting a boosted IS300. At the same time, it's even better that this car will be in So. Cal. I know the IS300 crowd in So. Cali. would be excited to have a high hp IS in their area. All this time most high hp IS300s were in the Mid-West or East Coast. One thing of concern as mentioned by "apatel" is that since Ethan you will be driving this car daily, wondering how "drivable" daily this high hp car would be. Being originally from So. Cali. also, I know about the traffics on 10, 60, 5, 405, 101, 105, 605, 91, and so forth. As for the 1,000 injectors, I hope your idle is nice and smooth. I think for daily boosted car, it's a bit overkill. In any case, congrats on the purchase and definitely one thing, you will enjoy it on the nice smooth So. Cal. hwys. Post some hp numbers and 1/4 track times when you get a chance.

Just so everybody knows.... this isn't just a simple "Turbo IS" that Statci bought.... this thing is the brainchild of Jarrett over at Powerhouse Racing... the thing is said to be capable of over 700HP (at least Jarrett and friends claim that on IS300.NET).

This car is one of the more powerful IS300s on the road.

Although, it's not as fast as Peter Farrell's car.

Congrats Static!

You are correct that this is Jarrett's IS300. It is a LOT of car. I know it does atleast 600 rwhp for a fact and it is a very fast car.

One thing though, I also know for a fact that right now this is the fastest IS300 in the world bar none. 11.6 is not the fastest 1/4 mile anymore.

I wouldn't be so sure to state ".....this is the fastest IS300 in the world bar none..." . Yes, I agree that PFS's 11.6 1/4 e.t. is not the fastest 1/4 e.t., but unless you have specific 1/4 e.t. numbers on Ethan's new PHR IS300 purchase, don't be so sure of yourself to make this type of statement....
