Angry At 9K miles inside of tires worn !! I did not rotate though..

I just had an oil change, and my freakin inside edge of my front tires are bald......what up with that ? I may be to blame for this, I had asked the last two times to NOT have my tires rotated. My first IS 300.....the dinged and scrapped the rims...

Lexus of Portland sucks on an imeasurable level !

I can't fight this with warranty.....sucks

Get new tires and alignment. After that rotate the tires every 5 K.

If you ***** they will give you a new set of tires. Is300 have a lot of problems with the alignment. And the tires are ****ty. Bring this matter to the GM of the dealer, he will take care of you. I work at a Lexus dealership, So i know.

I would definately question the dealership. Was the car brand new when you bought it..was it used....certified used...

I would definately bring in to dealership and have someone check that out for you under warranty.
Good luck.

Well, if you're lucky, Lexus will pay for new tires. But since you specifically asked them not to rotate your tires, I can't see how they are at fault. The owners manual states you should rotate your tires every 5k miles. However, the uneven wear sounds like an alignment problem. You should have Lexus do an alignment on your car, which is covered under warranty (up to 12k miles I think).

The dinged rimes are another story. If the dealership was at fault, they should definitey remedy the situation. Good luck.

Here is the deal:

IYou should have rotated the the tires around 4000-5000 miles, but the camber is out on your IS if the insides of the tires are bald. The warranty is covered under warranty up to 12,000 miles if you have not lowered or has different wheels. Go to a local shop(that is reputable) and ask them to check your alingment and get them to print out the alingment specs and I'll guarantee that the camber is out. :-)
