Default PLP short shifter: yes or no?

I'm interested in one, but I'm not sure if I'm willing to get it because i've heard some bad things about the noise it makes. I just want your opinions only if you've installed one on your IS or if you've heard a friends. Thanks!

Just get the TRD shift **** and it will take away some of the chatter.
