Default removing fluid draive fan system

What is the proper procedure for eliminating the fluid fan in favor of twin electrics? I have a 1989 Supra with a 2JZ block and 1JZ head, both with a lot of work. Been fighting overheating. I would like to keep the system (except for the fan) on the car but blocked off without completely removing it until I determine the electrics will do the trick. Would the pump fail for having no fluid? Or can I just recirculate without the fan?

You would probably have better luck with that question in a MKIII Supra group.
All IS300s come with twin electric fans. When you do delete your fluid fan, the best efan setup you can run is the IS300 fans and shoud setup.
