Back to owning an IS300
Picked up a 2003 Sport Design this morning. Second IS I’ve owned, but this one is going to be more project, less daily driver.
one issue I found though is the trac control button does not seem to be doing anything when pressed.
Fuse issue?

The stock car doesn't really make a lot of power so unless you actually tested the traction control in a situation where it would be used, it could just be the LED in the switch is out. Test methodically. I realize your post is months old and you may not even see this. This forum feels pretty dead.

Thanks for the info. I replaced with the button with another button, and still the same thing. Should a trac off light come on in the gauge cluster when depressed?

Ah!! I think you're right. The button itself doesn't light up. My lexus has been down for a few months now so I can't verify for you right now, but now that you mention that, it makes sense. The traction light in the dash lights up. What you don't want is for it to be blinking, that means there's a malfunction with the traction control.
