Exclamation Snow mode malfunction

Hi guys needs some advice/help/tips. I have a 01 is300 while i drive, the snow button indicates it has been turned when i havent pushed it on. And you can feel the engine rpm slow down as it should when the snow mode is activated. The onlyway to override it is by pushing the power button. Easy fix for now but i do still want to save gas even if its half gallon difference when not running power mode. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. It does have 265k i know that could be possibly be the issue. But this problem wasnt showing up 1000 miles ago not even 500miles.

Sounds to me like the snow switch is faulty or you have wiring that is grounding out on something and making the TCU think the snow button has been pressed.
