Lock Cylinder issue
Hello,
I accidentally inserted a key from a 2000 RX 300 and tried turning it into my 2001 IS 300 in order to roll up the windows. After noticing that it was the wrong key, I went to insert the correct key and turn, but it does not turn anymore.
I've tried searching online on other forums for posts related to my issue and have tried some of the fixes found in these threads. Unfortunately, none of these fixes worked for me.
Due to the advice I followed in some of these threads, the key now does not even insert completely into the lock cylinder. I am now looking to most likely replace the entire lock cylinder.
Would anyone happen to have any information on the removal of the lock cylinder assembly from the inside of the car?
Thanks
