Default In market for is300

Been looking for a nice is300 for about a year now....i live in wisconsin so its damn near impossible but i found a damn near mint one in IL...03 167xxx manual....unmolested....no accidents...all in all the car is nice except exhaust leak somewhere off the header and a bucket seat thats way 2 small for me.and some odd dents on the roof near the rear window.....there are other marks on the roof but these dont have a scuff or scratch or ne thing on them....was reading and some owners say this cud happen from bottoming out the car?? Need some help... he wants 4,900.. prolly worth it...but some outside input would be GREATLY APPRECIATED!!!

Id wait and hold out. I know you want to get into one. But that price would require a flawless body and no mechanical issues whatsoever IMO. I buy and sell this era gs/is/sc cars all the time in the $2500 or less range. I'd pay no more than $4000 for one of these in as good of shape as they come. But obviously they are a dime a dozen here in Cali. I just suggest holding out.

Prices are all over the place, things are worth whatever people are willing to pay for them. The question: how bad do you want one and why? Start reading and maybe figure out if it suits you or not. Time and again I remind 2jsupra people that building an IS300 takes a lot of money. Not knowing your circumstances, whether you are a kid IN high school, college or a professional with a steady income, please take this with a grain of salt and do not be offended.

If after thinking about it you figure you are still set on an IS300 then it truly is whatever you are willing to pay. I will not sell mine because people are not willing to pay half of what it cost me to get there. However, everyone I've met, goes head over heels for the car and the supra lore.
