Heat and A/C only run extremely hot or cold
I've got a 2002 IS and I've got an issue where turning my temp to anything above 64 degrees makes my air blow hot and below 64 degrees it blows cold as ice. There's no in between.This started about a year ago and I've sort of just been living with it. It still runs and drives fine. I was thinking maybe something is wrong with the temp gauge itself and was going to swap it out, but I'd rather not spend money on a "potential" fix. Any suggestions would be appreciated. And sorry if this has been asked before. I'm new to the forums.

Sounds like a bad air blend servo. I would double check the connection to it. Other than that I would say it is bad or the control ECU. Matbe even the control ****. You will need to check a few things to point more to the problem.
