Need advice on buying a used car

Very nice. Here are a few places you may want to check: one is obvious, the 2002 -2005 models have a sticky dash problem. Which can easily be fixed by converting to 2001 version. The second check the under carriage for rust, that can not be repaired and will lead to multitude of issues down the road. Here's a bonus which is harder to determine, make sure they didn't disconnect the battery, so the check engine light won't show. The ECU can read it pretty fast if you put it thru its paces on the hwy. Check wherever the wiring runs to the headlights,ECU and battery. Some people leave a birds nest for wiring. Hope that helps.
