Value of 2002 IS300 Sportcross?
I am debating on selling my Silver 2002 IS300 Sportcross with 71,000 miles. Car is in like new mechanical and cosmetic condition. I am the second owner (purchased in 2014) Has been serviced exclusively using OEM parts and is bone stock except for the radio. These things pop up on BAT every now and then and have sold for $14-$15K which kind of blows my mind. I am new to Club Lexus and would like some advice listing it here for sale. I have no need to sell the car but if someone is fixated on a Sportcross this is the one.

I haven't really seen many autos (sportx or sedan) go for over 8-10. Even though yours is in great condition with low miles I'm not sure you'd see the teens. If that thing were 5spd with factory lsd then holding out for 15k would have a chance.
Dash starting to show signs of melt yet?
Value for the IS has been holding steady for a bit, so there is a chance in a few more years it could increase. Also, posting here probably won't get the views you want. Most people here already have a lex, so putting in on fb, cl, etc will get you way more exposure.
I'd ask why you are debating selling - just getting tired of it, no use, no room, etc. Otherwise it still looks like a perfect daily driver that costs next to nothing to maintain given the mileage. It would almost be a crime for some asshat to buy it and ruin the suspension, put a 10foot exhaust tip out of the back, and a bunch of stickers all over the front windshield.

A general rule of thumb that I've seen repeated on facebook is that Sportcrosses tend to be the same value as IS300 manuals with similar mileage.
Both have roughly the same total production numbers over the same years (02-05), and rare factory colors tend to fetch a bit more money.
I got my Sportcross in the fall of 2014. And since then, prices have stayed almost steady, if not increased a bit, on cars that have less than 100k on them

Thank you for all the well reasoned responses. You've convinced me to do what I originally planned...keep the car and enjoy it until the wheels fall off!
Greatly appreciated!
Oh, yeah...the dash was sticky. Acetone and elbow grease took care of that and then a fresh coat of Kodak flat black lacquer. It was originally intended for painting the inside of a camera body or lens to reduce reflections. Worked beautifully in this application.

Uh, I may take back what I said. Today a 43K, automatic, silver sold on BAT for $20,500. Yes, it has a cleaner under carriage than mine and 28K fewer miles but it sure looks like $15K is not beyond reason for the vehicle I have. More pondering to do.
