Full leather '03s are going for $29,900 here in Atlanta. But I found a '04 full leather for $31,000. There's really nothing different about the '04 although I haven't seen one in person. The dealer tells me that the grill is different
I don't see any reason to get an '04. There hasn't been any engine upgrades and the '05 model will be redesigned anyway, right? So visually an '03 is just as new and nice as a '04. I feel that the '03 is the better deal but friends and family tell me that resale value is going to be higher on the '04 since it is the newer model. But I plan on driving this car for a long time. I want to make shure my investment into such a car is going to be well spent.
I found '02s with 30,000+ miles for $25-26,000 so I figured that a brand new '03 with 0 miles is worth the extra $4,000. Now it seems like the new model is only 1,000 higher. My head hurts from all these people calling and talking to me.
I want the '03 but but the price needs to drop to $28,000 for it to out do the '04. Anyone that knows a good dealer in Atlant that can help me out PLEASE let me know.
Give me your advice guys.

I have one for you, go to Hennessey Lexus of Gwinnett. Myself along with other members of SELOC.NET have purchased our cars from there and have had great experiences. We are actually planning on having a meet there in Oct. You should join us so we can introduce you to some people. Shoot me a PM if you are interested!

I'd love to go. I plan on having the car by October, not shure though. Who did you buy your car from at Hennessey?

And I bet I can walk away with it for 27-28k - seeing that I purchased my SD for 29.

I was going to buy the 03 IS, but seeing that there was only about $1500 difference made my mind up for me. So I ordered an 04, which I don't mind waiting on so I can have more money for a down payment when it gets here. There are a couple new options like memory seats and some other things I don't remember. But I say go with the 04.

Go with the 04. As for the grille being different...that's a bunch of dealer BS. I love my week old 2004 E-Shift with (VK) Alcantara/Leather package and Memory Seats of course. If you're looking for the best deal, PM me if you don't mind to get your car from here in SoCal.
