2002 is300 not started for 5 years
Hi, My brother had a 02 is300, he passed a few years ago and the car has been sitting in the driveway for 5 years. It’s good condition and only 48,000 miles. I was hoping to get it running again and was wondering if anyone can give me some advice. I’m not a mechanic but I’m handy. Thanks

First thing to worry about is bad fuel the tank needs to be drained or at least add fuel if the tank is mostly empty. The fuel pump might be gummed up and seized hard to say. Check the air filter to make sure nothing was or is living in there.
Change the oil and filter, don't start the engine or crank it over. Then remove all spark plugs dump a bit of engine oil into each cylinder and leave it for a day. Come back and turn the engine over by hand a few times, cover the top of the engine and crank it over via key, oil will likely spit out the plug holes. Crank it until oil mostly stops being pushed out of the cylinders, install plugs and try to start the engine. All fluids will need to be changed especially brake fluid.
