I have a 2002 IS300, I was driving and it randomly died on me. Everything seemed fine before it shut off. I was advised to add some fuel in the tank to make sure it wasn't a gas issue, but the fuel gauge wasn't even reading. So I ended up just towing it home for further inspection since nothing solved the issue. I replaced the fuel pump, nothing still. No reading of fuel whatsoever. The car turns over but no spark.
