boosting is300
hello guys so i’m trying to boost my is300 and i’m look at the best ways to do it i hear lots of ppl saying it’s easier to just get a gte but i’m not to worried about having to do lots of work on it so i’m think about just going with a $1300 turbo kit of amazon and a plug and play ecu and just run it stock for a while on low boost just to give me a little more
what do y’all think
and here’s some questions since it’s vvti what other things then connecting rods would i want to change when going for a more boost? i’ve seen ppl do gte conversations but could i just go with what i have and upgrade it?

or just be able to run 30psi boost
im not to worried about blowing the motor because i got the car for only1k so it would make the build to pricey to get a new 2jz ge
but i still wanna be able to run 30 more or less safely

The stock GE with a 60-1 turbo at 7lbs makes 325 whp. With 420cc injectors and a stealth pump. For what you want in the long run. You will need rods and pistons ETC...
