Does anyone know what this part is? It is a bravket and connector on the intake. I noticed my IS is missing it and want to buy it

Hello,

Are you sure it is an IS300 shown on the picture?

It is a Condenser to reduce electrical interference and noise for the Radio and ECU. Here you can find a Parts Catalogue for your car, which shows the location of all the condensers present in the car, and I don't see a similar one there, a picture of your wiring will be helpful..

Hope this helps and best of luck!

I dont think its for the condensor. Here is a picture of the plug on the wire harness. It is with the wires that go to the fuel injectors #1 and #2

Yeah, that is definitely a plug for a condenser, it has a unique shape and only one wire coming to it. Do you still have the intake for that car? I wonder if you still have the hanger for that condenser.. It seems like the Part Number for it is 90980-05313, I looked up the catalogue for a GS300 that has that condenser bolted to the intake as well, since the IS diagram shows it being located on the strut tower for one reason or another.. In any case, coming to the dealership with it would be ... pricey, so the best bet would be to visit the junkyard and take one off of any JZ engine, it shouldn't be to hard to find.

Hope this helps and best of luck!
