Default Day 55-60 Cont'd

Here's the rear with a silver lexus logo and new rear sways and coilovers. Looking at these pictures, I see the disk could use some silver touch up as well. Oh well, one more Honey-Do task.

ooo. the calipers look great.

although i thought you woulda gone with maybe blue color for the calipers to match the car (just an opinion), the black is still a great choice. the lexus and emblem logos on the calipers are pimping for sure.

can't wait to see the interior and the "XXX" rims.

why's that? just curious. maybe you could convince me as well. i would think blue would match the car and look super hot.

well it's just personal choice i guess, and different definition of rice to me if it's not big brakes, then just black or silver. if you have stoptech or brembo, red is cool, if you have endless, blue is nice but with stock calipers that's too much for me heck even my ap racing i got them black

I check this thread every once in awhile - it's a great thread and it really keeps me coming back to the IS forums. But dammit, where are pics of those wheels INDGOGIRL?

Default Day 61

TXSTYLE : Check your PM. I really had my eye on a Z like yours, but until my daughter is old enough to ride on and airbag front seat, I'll have to stick to 4 seater cars. This WILL change in the future.

djo715 - Unfortunately a few more mods b4 u c the wheels. A little fender mod is in order. We tried the rims for the first time the other day. They appeared to clear, but with advice from Rominl (who has first hand experience with rubbing), we decided to mod the fenders for more clearance.

I will let my husband explain the process:

1. On the front, the tabs are a vulnerable area.

2. The plastic was softened with a heat gun and pushed flat against the inside of the fender.

Default Day 61 Cont'd

Using the method known as "The California Roll" the rest of the fender lip was rolled using a baseball bat - not for hammering, but rolling !

5. Front fender DONE
