Hello, I just bought my daughter a 2008 Lexus is 250 AWD with 143000. I want to make sure I take care of it. I called the dealer to find oil intervals. I was told it was every 10000 miles but I think I will change it every 5000 miles. So I understand I can't change the transmission fluid. So since I just bought this car is their any recommendation that I should do to it to maintain it? And what are the service requirements for this car? Thank you for the information.

 

These are covered in the owner's manual. Did your car not come with one?

No, I am Missing the owners manual but thank you for the link you provided me. I now have the owner manual on my computer and realized never trust the dealer for your information because the oil change is done every 5000 miles not 10000 mile like the Lexus dealer I contacted. thank you
