I tossed some Sylvania LEDs in there probably 6 years ago, can't remember if they were the standard LED or ZEVO LED. Still bright as the day I put them in at least.
I've tried a bunch since 2013 on 3 different cars. ijdmtoy, ebay mostly. I tend to go to go pure white range.
I've seen these newer type with flat board design. Which pretty much fit anywhere. I recently purchased these for my GS350 reverse lights. They are tremendously bright. Very helpful at night since I have dark tint. It looks like daylight on the backup camera.
You'll need to find the 194 size in these shown below as reference. My GS has the same type in 194 size for the doors, trunk....
A word of caution on door panel lights with these exposed PCBA designs. My 2010 Tundra has a full metal bracket that holds the bulb and this is great when the bulb is nonconductive glass. Less so with conductive metal exposed.
In short I used some small bits of silicone tubing sliced to keep the bulb/led centered during them door slamming events (guests)...
This fully met my expectations for ground lighting... a fleabay pack of 20... Doubt they outlive the 13 year old incandescent bulbs tho! lol
I'm guessing our cars are the same so keep this in mind...
