Default 2008 IS350 - Testing the Waters for Sale (LOTS of F-Sport Parts)

I'm considering selling my 2008 Tungsten Pearl IS350. It has been my daily since 2014 and mileage has been almost exclusively highway for work commuting. I purchased it in 2014 with ~11k miles and it has been a Florida car all of its life and no accidents.

I will post pics if there is interest. Interior 8.5/10, Exterior 8/10, Maintenance 10/10

What kind of price range would you expect?

Details
  • 2008 IS350
  • Tungsten Pearl
  • Black leather interior - rear seats flawless, passenger front minimal to no wear, driver seat exceptionally good condition
  • 254k miles (nearly all highway commuting)
  • GFX style front lip
  • No tint
  • F-Sport axle back exhaust (fully polished before install)
  • F-Sport airbox
  • F-Sport air filter
  • F-Sport springs
  • F-Sport shocks
  • F-Sport sway bars
  • F-Sport under chassis brace
  • Megan lower front chassis brace
  • 2012 ISF steering computer
  • ISF steering wheel damper
  • RR Racing USRS LCAs (red urethane)
  • Daizen Sport urethane steering rack bushing (that was a fun install)
  • New OEM water pump installed
  • New OEM accessory belt installed
  • New OEM idler pulleys installed
  • New trunk struts
  • All original OEM parts can be included (mufflers, steering computer, etc.)
  • All fluids changed regularly
  • Dashboard replaced and in good condition
  • All door panels replaced - driver side door handle showing some wear

I would be happy if I got $7,500. That's a ton of miles and your mods only matter to enthusiasts; they actually reduce the value to a general consumer.

Sorry for the bad news.

I'd revert the car back to its OEM form. Then sell all mods on the classifieds.

Sell either to private or dealership of some sort carmax ...etc.

Last go search for your new vehicle of your choice.

It's not bad news

My car has a gazillion miles, so it seems about right.

Just a thought, perhaps not a good one depending on the miles logged on the shock/springs, buy a used set of 4X off fleabay and and swap whole assemblies or just let them go down the road with the car.

Does it still have stock wheels on it?

Yes, sir. Stock hypersilver wheels...a little curb rash. As expected with such high mileage.

Was saying the F-Sport shocks/springs. Swap w fleabay. IMO still not worth it if the combo has 100k. The buyer would be getting used F-Sport springs...

This advice will get you the best bang for your buck. With the age of our cars, the mods will decrease value. Make it stock, sell it, and then sell the parts; but with that many miles, most of the mods are probably worn out.

Where in FL are you?

I am in Tampa. Know of anybody who wants parts or the whole car?

I will leave the post active , as it’s not a classified ad. But everyone , please refrain from turning it into one. With that being said , you can always list it as it sits for the price you’re thinking and see what happens. But the F-Sport exhaust alone will fetch big money. If you decide to part out or sell the car here do it in the classifieds. Good luck!
