I didn't see a video there on Reddit. There are quite a few posts here in the forums about different noises in the front end so I'm guessing you didn't find a match?

Could be a rust build up on your rotors and when you turn the steering wheel the rotor rubs against the brake shield. I had similar problem on my car. I’ve replaced the rotors, the metalic noise is gone. Have it checked out.

Hmm...I'll take a look. I actually just replaced my rotors last year and they visibly look fine. Posted the video with the sound here - https://www.youtube.com/shorts/n-CQ9aP423k

My initial thoughts was the wheel bearing too since I changed brake pads and rotors not too long ago. Does this sound like the wheel bearings to you? https://www.youtube.com/shorts/n-CQ9aP423k

Bad wheel bearing makes continual humming noise not just when you turn the steering wheel.

To test the wheel bearing theory jack up one corner at a time until the tire is suspended. Spin the wheel by hand. You shouldn't hear any grinding/popping/clicking noises and there should be no vibration. Also grab the wheel on the left and right sides and wiggle it little side-to-side. You shouldn't feel any play. Repeat top-bottom just like side-to-side. Let us know what found or did not find.
