Default Blower Fan won't turn off even when car is turned off.

Ive encountered issues with my 07 IS350 fan today, where it wouldn't turn off when I hit the off switch on the fan, nor when I turn the car off.

I unhooked the battery for 10 minutes hoping it would turn it self off, but the moment I hook it back up, the fan comes back on without me even starting the car.

To add more context to this, the fan did die on my once before (I thought), so I had the blower fan replaced about a month ago. Now I have the opposite problem where the fan would just not turn off?

Also, it had rained a ton recently and thus its very humid outside where I park my car. These issues occur when it rains (along with my radio suddenly dying on me when I drive).

Anyone encountered this and know of any fixes? Would be greatly appreciated! Let me know if you need additional details.

There should be a thermostat that tells the computer to cut off power when the temperature setting is achieved. You can research based on this. Good luck.

Thank you guys for replying. I hooked the battery back up this morning and the fan turned on the moment i hooked the negative. But i started the car anyways and the fan magically turned off! Also, the rain had dried up over night and I parked in the garage so maybe that contributed to it. Hopefully it stays this way, but maybe ill find out in the next rainstorm. As for the thermostat, where can I locate this?
