I have a 2009 IS250 RWD with about 155k miles, I took it out and did a bunch of donuts and now my car might have a blown diff. The thing is it still drives fine its just way slower and doesn't accelerate as fast, only it smells like diff fluid which is the case since the fluid is leaking and some dripped onto the exhaust and that's what the smell is coming from. My question is has anyone else had this issue? I heard it might be due to the transmission fluid being low and that is causing the jolting. When I shift from, park to drive or drive to reverse there's a notable thud coming from the differential area. At first I thought maybe the driveshaft mount but its not that. I'm going to top off the transmission and hopefully that was the problem because the differential is quite the job and I have nowhere to do it other than outside in my driveway in 30 degree weather.

If you can see the leaking. In what area is it from the axel seals? If not degrease the area, then move the car to see where it's spewing out from.
