Replace Rear Shocks
The front shocks were replaced few years ago with KYBs, the rear shocks are probably still original and at 255K miles Im sure they are worn. Ive seen sets of rear KYB shocks about $250 Im going to get them have a tech put them in.
I assume rear shocks install is easier than fronts and will not need an alignment??

iirc, only toe is adjustable on the rears so it's completely up to you if you feel like you should get an alignment. If it hasn't been done in a long time or if you just want to do it for peace of mind, go for it. If it was me, I'd do it for peace of mind.
They're not super hard to DIY if you want to tackle it, the spring is the part that keeps me away from DIY'ing them. Sway bar link needs to be disconnected, then the control arm needs to be disconnected by removing the knuckle bolt then remove the bolt from the control arm, then remove the nuts holding the strut in the trunk. Make sure you have some penetrating oil, esp if you see a lot of rust/corrosion under there. https://practicalmoto.com/2020/01/17...t-replacement/

I changed mine a couple of weeks ago. Very easy, except for the bottom bolt on the left hand side. Tried penetrating fluid etc, but in the end had to resort to a drift in an air hammer to get it out. I wouldn't want to attempt that on the ground. Also, the alignment wasn't affected.

Now that's a nice DIY procedure.
