Default CarLinkLife

I updated my 2011 IS (Factory Navigation) with a CarLinkLife unit. I looked into the usual Android Head Unit replacement options. All of them seem to require a CANBUS box. I Did not want to take a chance of a CANBUS conflict. I Also wanted to retain ALL factory functionality. The CarLinkLife module did this. It does require more work to install. But, It works as described. I am happy with the results.

How much is it for the one that works with factory nav? Where to buy that’s legit?

I bought from the CarLinkLife.com site. There is a post from this vendor earlier in this thread. I made the purchase last week. The $30 discount mentioned in the vendor post was honored. Shipped from Hong Kong. It was packaged well, and took about a week to arrive via DHL.

This is a module that is installed similar to the GROM LEX6 but smaller. All necessary plugs and cabling are included-no wire cutting or splicing. The interface box was small enough that I was able to tuck it just under the ABS module (that is mounted on top of the factory unit) and secure it with some foam padding. There is also small circuit board included with flat data ribbons that needs to be installed and connected to the factory touch screen. I believe this circuit board provides (in part) the ability to switch between the factory functions and the CarLinkLife interface by long pressing the hang-up button on the steering wheel. It took me about half a day from start to finish. I was slow and careful. Not too bad if you've done any computer building or the like. I mounted the included microphone on the lower dash panel near the center console and just above the gas pedal. It works well there and is not visible unless one is specifically looking for it. I like the fact that I didn't have to sacrifice any glove box space with this install. There is no obvious external evidence of the unit's existence. As I mentioned before, ALL factory functionally remains including the factory backup camera, usb... everything.

Curious to what button you press to get to the CarPlay / Android Auto mode.
There is the VLite VT2 model for Lexus IS 2010-2012 (with the factory Nav), the main unit has small form factor:
