Picked up an unbelievably clean 2010 IS250 and would like to add apple carplay. Base model AWD w/o Nav or Mark Levinson sound. I see some older thread so I'm wondering if there is any updated tech or experience with this. There are some options on amazon as well.

I have been running the CC3 2k for over a year now and it has been great.
Does your 2k run with the frame on the outside? is the screen slightly cut off at the edges?
There are two versions. One for the IS's that already have Navi and then the version for IS's without Navi. The version for IS's with Navi are the ones where the screen is a bit cut off by the bracket. Mine (that was without Navi) is great and none of the screen is cut off.

Right right. They're apparently supposed to fix the screen cut off issue for 2k models but I'm yet to get a response from them on this

The add-on CarPlay units such as GROM VLine VL2 / VLite VT2 require stereos with the factory navigation for 2010 IS 250 . Your option would be to replace the stereo to the aftermarket, or try to fit the nav stereo from the same year (unsure if possible).
If the 2010 Lexus IS250 stereo has factory navigation, GROM VLine VL2 / VLite VT2 model LEX6 will work for wireless CarPlay and Android Auto: https://gromaudio.com/store/all-lex6_.html
Anyone get the 2k with the frame and experienced the screen cut off? Has Teyes said anything about a software update to fix it?
please read my above post. its not the software that cuts the screen. and if it does i have never once seen it. its the housing i mentioned above and it is the most minute amount you will never really notice
