I currently have a 2007 Lexus IS 250. When I purchased it, it came with 19 inch rims with low profile tires. I’m sick of the low profiles and want to put standard rims back on the vehicle with regular tires. What size rims can go on the vehicle?
17s would bring it back to stock. Theres people that have fit 16s, not sure if 15s would clear the caliper.
I checked the driver door jam panel and it has both front and back listed as 18. Yet I got a quote to replace rims and tires and it included 17s in front and 18s in back. Not sure why. Will probably get another quote.
IS250 came with 16" and 17" wheels. 18" wheels came on a sports suspension model.
Installing tires with a taller sidewall is another way of making ride more comfortable and less prone to tire damage on potholes.
Instead of 225/45/17 you can go up to 225/50/17.
Plenty of wheels for sale on Marketplace (tab on top).
