Pulling the passenger side rear bumper bar out Need Advise pls
Hello all,
I have a 2010 IS250C that has been crunched a little in the rear passenger side is the main impact. I would like to pull it out a little so the trunk and lights fit a little better until I can get all the parts to weld a new back end on.
I am planning on hooking the rear bumper, that was pushed in, right at the attachment to the car frame and bumper, chain it to a concrete-filled steel post out in front of my shop, and hit the gas a little to jerk the back out a little more than it is right now.
What I need to know is will this action set off any airbags and if so can I temporarily disable the airbag system so I can do this?
I know this method is not the professional way but its a way I can do right now just to fix it a little bit.
Any help from you guys will be awesome!!
Thank you!!
