Hi, I'm Wendy from California. I purchased a 2007 IS350 from a friend of mine. It has 175K miles and has been serviced according to the schedule in the manual. I love it so far (except for the fuel mileage lol) The only Toyota products I've owned have been 4 MR2 s. 3 Gen I and a gen 2. The Gen 1 were absolutely brilliant with 300k plus put on each one. My last one had 427K when I sold. I hope to get over 300k with this Lexus.
Well just thought I'd introduce myself.

Welcome Wendy from California. Congrats on your Lexus. From all accounts, Lexus' (or is it Lexii) and Toyotas are bulletproof.
So, your aim to reach 300k should be do-able. I used to have an IS250 - yours is much more powerful. I loved my Lexus. I
went to the "dark side" for a year (with BMW) but now I'm back, because it was all power and no finesse (bad ride, noisy, heavy).
Wish you the best in your Lexus.

Howdy... by the book, this implies the transmission has never been serviced. Find yourself a trustworthy place to drop the pan and filter and get some fresh fluid in there. These have no dipstick so expect an overnight service as the check overflow temp is very low and less than 10 min drive can shoot the temp over requiring hours to cool down for proper checking.
I wrote DIY if you need some input..
GL w/new Lex!
